Abstract / Excerpt:

This study will provide the rice farmers of Callawa, Buhangin a general description of their experiences and difficulties with climate change in their rice farming. Secondly, this research will also help provide information and data to the government, specifically the City Agriculture Office in Davao and the Department of Agriculture and other institutions namely NGO's and development agencies, who are concerned in researching and documenting the effects of climate change to agriculture. Thirdly this research will also paid policy makers in responding and mitigating climate change and its effect in agriculture, by providing descriptive data based on the experiences and difficulties of rice farmers.
