Abstract / Excerpt:
This study hopes to document the oral literature of the Dibabawons as a means of preserving the stories. After the documentation, this thesis presents an analysis or identification of values found in the stories. The identified values are based on the authors own value system and orientation. This study cannot claim that the values identified are truly the values of the Dibabawon, however this study can serve as a basis for possible future anthropological and sociological research.
A thesis prepared and submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Degree of Bachelor of Arts in English
