Abstract / Excerpt:

Conclusion: (1) There has been no significant difference in the achievement in college algebra between the two groups, the experimental and control. (2) The non-significant difference on the attitude of the experimental and the control groups towards college algebra before the treatment showed that the two groups were comparable in terms of attitude. (3) The use of Filipino language as a medium of instruction, did not change the attitude of the students towards college algebra.
