Abstract / Excerpt:

Conclusions: A complete characterization of extremal k-stable tournaments was presented. Also, the connection between skew-Hadamard matrices and tournaments was established. This result gives an excellent example of the inter-relationships that exist between different areas of combinatorial mathematics. Although practical applications were not discussed, the reader is encouraged to think of this study's usefulness in real-life. The author has thought of analyzing the stability of our government by considering the results presented in this paper. A lot of information is needed to construct a tournament that could represent the whole situation. Political leaders, influential persons, and other sectors (military, religious, etc.) may be represented by vertices. An arc (x,y) may mean "x can convince y". The author recommends this idea as a topic for future research.
