Abstract / Excerpt:

The main problem of the study is on how media practitioners define libel, what experiences and challenges faced in a libel case and how they dealt with it, in print, radio, and T.V in Davao City. The proponents consumed three weeks of gathering the data through an open-ended interview. The gathered data are not capable of generalizing which means that the data reflects the different view on libel from the experiences and challenges of the respondents.
