Abstract / Excerpt:

Objectives: The main purpose of this study is to present several pointers on growing pineapples and learn the most available data and technique on how to grow pineapples in the Philippines, particularly under Mindanao condition. On the other hand, it is also a way of training us to get involved with the actual work in the field and gain work experience.
Methodology: During the practicum in DOLE Philippines Incorporated, located at Polomolok, South Cotabato, we have gathered information on pineapple production through observation and interview.
Comments: The management is really an organized one. In the field, the operations are systematically done. Dole Philippines Incorporated is concerned with good supervision that is needed for good production. Based on these techniques and confidential matters, the Dole Philippines Incorporated maintains its standing in the local and world market of pineapple products.
