Abstract / Excerpt:

This study aims to enhance the cultural awareness of the people through indirect interactions with the lumads and learning their importance to the community; to help improve the tourism situation in Davao by providing tourist attractions and for the locals as well; to preserve the different cultures that are slowly diminishing; to uplift the quality of life of the people by learning the significance of their history; and to provide a sustainable livelihood to support the preservation of their culture.
