Associated teaching ativities in Science IV / Francis G. Cabangon

Abstract: This study was conducted to measure the effect of Associated Teaching Activities in the mastery of specific skills as prescribed in the learning competencies of Grade IV pupils of Bual Elementary School in Science. Specifically the study endeavors to answer the question: Is their any significant increse in academic performance of Grade IV pupils in Bual Elementary School in Science after employing Associated Teaching Activities? This study made use of the descriptive method of research. A total of sixty-six (66) grade IV pupils in Science were utilized as the subject. The data were obtained from the pretest and posttest results of the National Diagnostic Test conducted to the 66 grade IV pupils of Bual Elementary School, Tulunan South District, Division of Cotabato. In the light of the finding of the study, the researcher had come to a conclusion that post evaluation activities in form of Associated Teaching Activities enhanced learning achievement of grade IV pupils in Science. Furthermore, pupils exposure to varied associated teaching activities had a great positive effect to their learning performance.
