This study analyzes selected Maguindanaon cultural values and concepts on land to facilitate the successful implementation of the Agrarian Reform Program in the Maguindanao areas. It touches on the pusaka tribal tenure system, the kawalis, datuism, the influence of the Islamic law and the adat customary law, and the luwaran, the Maguindanao Code of Laws.
