The study presents data on the assessment post harvest operations from harvesting, threshing, piling and drying of rice. Around 14.95 percent quantitative loss is incurred in post harvest operations during wet season and 12.26 percent loss during dry season. Qualitative loss is 10.31 percent and 11.27 percent during wet season and dry season respectively. Post harvest losses reduce production capacity and income of farmers. Factors contributing to post harvest losses are technical, social and economic in nature.
