This study evaluates the performance of farming system that combines a WSR-TPR-Mung cropping pattern with cattle as the livestock during the crop years 1985-86. The average cost and return analysis revealed that the system of integrating livestock in crops (WSR-TPR-Mung-Cattle) obtained a net return of of 2,614./ha over that of the farmers practice (TPR-TPR-F-Cattle). This perfomance is unsatisfactory considering that the calves used are with high breed. This system wass recommended for termination and barangay piloting.
