Determines the correlation between fourth year grades and 1996 NSAT scores of students from public and private secondary schools in Cotabato City. The findings show that students in private schools have higher mean grade than those in the public schools. Overall, students have satisfactory performance in NSAT in Mathematics, Science, English and Filipino. Private school students performed in the 1996 NSAT better than those in the public schools.
