Nitrogen and potassium interaction in lowland rice

Annotation

Findings of the study shows that nitrogen application at different levels influence plant height, tiller number, panicle count, dry matter yield, weight of 1000 grains and grain yield of IR74. potassium application improved plant height at early growth stages but no significant effect is observed at maturity. Data show that an application of 120-120 kg NK/ha increased grain yield to 7.0 t/ha and is most profitable compared to other fertilizer levels.
