Different levels of kilovoltage X-irradiation influenced significantly the following characters in cacao: number of leaves plant after thirty and 120 days, stem girth after thirty to sixty days and 120 days for Criollo, Forantero and Trinitario varieties. Mean effects of Criollo and Trinitario cacao show comparable performance on plant height after 120 days. Criollo variety developed leaves earlier compared to Forastero and Trinitario.
