A study that develops an effective alternative approach to control Diamond Backmoth (DBM) based on a sound ecological strategy. One alternative is by intercropping cabbage with tomato. This approach reduces DBM population and favors the build-up of natural enemy populations. Procedures from seedbed preparation, land preparation, transplanting, fertilizer application, staking and typing of the tomato plants, DBM management strategies and harvesting are discussed in details.
