The output of the Research Training on the Lumad Belief System in the year 2000, jointly undertaken by the Episcopal Commission on Inter-Religious Dialogue and the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process thru the Bishops Ulama Forum. Ethno-linguistic groups covered were: Manobo of Agusan, Bukidnon, and Paquibato in Davao City; Sama Dilaut in Cagayan de Oro; Talaandig in Bukidnon; Higaunon of Rogongon; Bla-an of South Cotabato; Dibabawon of Davao Norte; Mandaya of Davao Oriental, and Teduray of Maguindanao. The text is all in Cebuano Bisaya and one Tagalog. English translations, for non-Bisayan speakers, were done by Dr. Talaroc and this editor. The exception is the article Ang Balaang Kasaysayan sa ginharian sa Tagoloan or the Sacred History of the Kingdom of Tagoloan which according to Datu Sandigan (Rogelio Cabiladas) of Rogongon, Iligan City had already been done but at the time of the training could not be shared because he did not have the proper clearance from the elders to release it.
