Abstract:
There are many potentials benefits to an economically connected and integrated Association of Southeast Asian Nation(ASIAN). But connectivity in maritime Southeast Asia remain a serious challenge. Asian is beginning to address theses issues ,with the adoption of a Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity. Among its flagship project is a region “roll-on,roll-off” nautical transportation network ,pattered after the innovative system pioneered in the Philippines with support from The Asia Foundation.
