Abstract:

The Regional Development Plan for Region X (Northern Mindanao), was the first to include a science and technology chapter, thanks to stakeholder-inclusive efforts led by DOST. Personal relationships are often stronger between participants, owing in part to a lower density of organizations and professionals. Another example is that 15 of the nation’s Regional Competitiveness Committees include a university partner, while this is not the case in the National Capital Region.
