Abstract:

USAID/Philippines has been implementing major assistance efforts in Mindanao for well over 10 years. In 1995, USAID expanded its assistance efforts to cover all of Mindanao and the Sulu Archipelago. After the signing of the peace agreement in 1996, USAID
intensified aid in the conflict-affected areas of Mindanao.
