There is a place in Davao where people can relax and enjoy a country-life atmosphere.The place is Mainit, in Nabunturan, Davao del Norte, about an hour and a half ride from Davao City.Mainit, about 15 kilometers from the town proper, boosts of three hot and one cold;springs, not to . mention the fresh air and vegetation of the place.In fact, Mainit is fast catching up as a tourist attraction of Davao del Norte. More and more visitors go to Mainit during .weekends and holidays primarily because of the hot springs known for their therapeutic miracles.It is said that patients who have had several bathing sessions in Mainit have been cured of their ailments such as paralysis,rheumatism, back pains, stiff necks; deafness and skin diseases.
