Abstract / Excerpt:
The term sustainable livelihood is widely used by non-governmental organizations (NGO), government, funding agencies and the Bretton Woods institutions (e.g.. World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Bank for International Settlements). Cirrrently there are over 50 official definitions of the term sustainable development, while theterm livelihood by cormotation is complex and diverse.
