Abstract / Excerpt:

Davao City is a big challenge to its leaders and people. Rushed by circumstances to metropolis growth, the city faces a number of problems that will surely-test the talent. Imagination and creativity of its constituents, particularly its leadership, In transforming the erstwhile frontier city into a modern metropolis.

Because of its strategic location, favorable weather and fertile valleys and plains, it has lured droves of migrants from all over the country — from as far North as Luzon to as far South as Sulu.
