Abstract / Excerpt:

This prepared instructional material-the course pack with formative test aims primarily to help improve the quality of instruction of science and health in Grade 5. With the varied activities employed particularly group interactions and "hands on minds on approach, it is a hope that this can uplift the standard of teaching Science 5. It aims also to lessen the perennial burden of Grade 5 Science teachers in preparing daily lesson plans.
