Abstract / Excerpt:

This study attempted to look into the varieties of gay lingo in terms of its communicators and word formation. Specifically, this study wanted to answer the following questions: 1). How do the communicators learn the gay lingo?; 2). Why do the communicators use gay lingo?; 3). How are the vocabularies of gay lingo constructed?; 4). What are the varieties of the vocabulary of gay lingo utilized by the gay lingo communicators?
