Abstract / Excerpt:

This study aimed to examine the content, production stages and audience perception of the politically-oriented talk show, Gikan sa Masa,Para sa Masa. Specifically, this study answered the following questions: 1.) What are the recognized standards and contents of a politically-oriented talk show that meets the demands of the " Gikan sa masa, Para sa Masa" audience? 2.) What gaps are observed from the standards of a politically oriented talk show and that of the Gikan sa masa, Para sa Masa based on the perceptions of: a.televiewers b.Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa Production Team c.Media agency d.critic e.Media practitioner
