Total quality management in San Pedro College guidance center.

Abstract / Excerpt:

Objectives: This study aimed to appraise the San Pedro College (SPC) Guidance Center Services applying the core concepts of Total Quality Management (TQM). Specifically, the first part of the study hoped to: (1) describe the total operations of the Guidance center, (2) Identify resources and services provided by the SPC Guidance center, (3) Determine the quality of processes of or operations, resources, services, personnel and environment of the guidance Center and (4) Recommend improvements in the operations, resources, services, personnel and environment using TQM core concepts. The second part of the study sought to evaluate the management of Guidance Center Services applying the five main concepts of Total Quality Management, namely: Customer satisfaction, Total Involvement, Continuous improvement, measurement, and Systematic support.
