The Student Achievement Division (STAD) in teaching Mathematics IV / Kolma M. Alonto

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the extent of improvement of the academic achievement of the grade IV pupils using the STAD as an intervention. Specifically, it attempted to answer: Will the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) significantly improve the academic achievements of the Grade IV pupils in Mathematics? The Mean Percentage of Score (MPS) of each subject was computed. These revealed that the differences on the Mean values of the pre-test and the post-test scores were significant. Results implied that with the use of the (STAD) pupils academic achievement in mathematics had greatly improved.
