School administrators’ task performance in staff development

Abstract / Excerpt:

This study was designed to determine the task performance of public elementary school administrators in staff development based on the areas of development such as: assessment training needs of teachers, preparations of the school-based training design, conduct in service training (INSET), provide opportunities for professional growth and the development of teachers personal characteristics and morale. It also determines the task-performance of public elementary school administrators as they group into designation, school location and type of school. There were 10 respondents representing of school administrators and 21 respondents selected teachers of 10 schools of Bayugan West District of the Division of Agusan del Sur. Descriptive method was used in this study. The data were gathered through researcher made of questionnaires; The statistical tools employed were weighted mean.
