Abstract: The study was conducted at San Isidro Elementary School at Midsayap Central District. The purpose of the study was to determine the performance of grade four pupils in solving worded problems using Role Playing teaching strategy. It sought to answer the question. Does Role Playing significantly increase the performance of grade four pupils in solving worded problems? One hypothesis was formulated. There is no significant increase in the performance of grade four pupils using Role Playing teaching strategy. The subject of the study was one (1) class with thirty-six (36) grade four pupils. The instrument was the obtained data during the National Diagnostic Test (NDT) pretest and posttest. At 0.05 level of significance, the computed t-value is 3.73 and the tabular t-value is 1.66. The computed t-value is greater than the tabular t-value; hence the null hypothesis is rejected. Therefore, role playing as teaching strategy has significantly increase the performance of grade four pupils.
