Abstract / Excerpt:

Objective: The study aims to quantitatively analyze the cyanide level in Hijo River.

Conclusions: Based on the analysis made, the researcher has found out that the cyanide level in the three sampling stations in Hijo River is still toleratable. It has not yet exceeded the allowable cyanide concentration which is 0.05 mg/l or ppm. But, the water would still be dangerous to the health of the people and the aquatic plants and animals since cyanide is still toxic and it can still affect the lives of the organisms.
