Abstract / Excerpt:

The study deals with the three selected Steven Spielberg films and these are The Terminal, Minority Report and Artificial Intelligence. It will uncover political messages of these films through images, which are reflective of certain political themes. Specifically, the study will try to answer the following questions: 1.)What are the images in the three films that are reflective of political oppression? 2.) What are the images in the three films that are reflective of Imperialism? 3.) What are the images in the three films that are reflective of Gender Inequality? 4.) What are the images in the three films that are reflective of racial discrimination?
