MILF child soldiers: inclusion, tasks, knowledge, experiences and aspirations

Abstract / Excerpt:

This study would like to address first is the clear contradiction between existing international laws and the hiring of child soldiers. According to the International Labor Organization, such an act is the most hazardous form of child labor. Second, the war is supposedly just a political and ideological war between the MILF and the government. However, with the inclusion of children, it has obviously gone deeper. By "planting the seed of struggle in the minds of the young" as Hashim Salamat would put it, this war would obviously drag on.
METHODOLOGY: This part describes the research design, research locale, unit of analysis, sampling, data collection and variables and measures. All the data transcribed, were carefully arranged and analyzed based on the objectives of the study for a more reliable and valid data presentation.
