Abstract / Excerpt:
However, there is significant difference in the academic achievement in geometry between the SPED students exposed with the use of the Mathematics Trail Activities and those exposed to the traditional method. This implies that the students who were exposed with the use of the Mathematics Trail Activities performed better in geometry is better than traditional method among the students under the Special Education (SPED) curriculum in Tagum City National High School, Tagum City during school year 2003-2004. It has been recommended that a study be made to determine the factors such as IQ, attitude and manner of introducing the treatment that might have affected the results of this study specially the DOST classes. Recommending further that the same study be replicated to third year regular classes.
