Abstract / Excerpt:

The purpose of this study is to understand the behavior of the contemporary Filipino comic book artists and to study the suitable set up for them that can augment their creativeness and effectiveness, and to respond to their needs as artists, and as well research on ground-breaking spaces and forms that can command awe and respect and at the same time make people curious about the local comic book industry and its importance to the socio-cultural well being of the country.
