Abstract / Excerpt:

This study aimed to answer the relationship between hearing impairment and academic performance of Grade 5 pupils of San Roque Central Elementary School. Specifically, this study answered the following questions: 1. What is the profile of Grade 5 pupils of San Roque Central Elementary School in terms of: a.)Age b. ) Gender 2. What is the percentage of Grade 5 pupils of San Roque Central Elementary School when grouped into: a.) Hearing impaired b.) Not hearing impaired 3. What is the academic performance of the respondents of San Roque Central Elementary School who are included in the study? 4. Is there a significant difference between academic performance of those pupils with hearing impairment and without hearing impairment?
