Abstract / Excerpt:

This descriptive attempt to provide a qualitative description of the Fatherhood experiences of four young unmarried fathers studying at the Ateneo de Davao University. Fatherhood experiences, on aspects of child rearing, discipline, attachment, dreams and aspiration, difficulties and coping mechanisms, were explored through in- depth interviews. Results are presented as individual case studies. Follow up studies are recommended.
