The study was conducted in Davao City, Philippines. The data collection method used in the study was the in-depth interview with selected respondents.Highlights of the study include the socio-demographic profile, which shows the different ethnic affiliation of respondents, such as: an Indian, Muslim, Korean, and indigenous people; majority of the respondents are female; have own unique experiences in arranged marriage; who have either negative or positive responses on how they dealt with their arranged marriages. An important recommendation of the study is the conduct of further studies on arranged marriage to show the common cultural effects and trends, Policies (if any), and norms to include a wider range of locale.
