Abstract / Excerpt:

Objective: (1) to find out the reactions of selected public secondary biology teachers to the textbook, Science and Technology II, as to its suitability for use by public high school teachers; (2) to identify the problem/s if any, in the implementation of this curriculum material.
Methodology: A survey type method was used in this study.
Conclusions: (1) The book, Science and Technology II, is suitable for use as biology textbook by public high school teachers with respect to presentation and content. (2) Lack of textbook, laboratory facilities, laboratory materials , laboratory room and reference materials are the top five problems met by the biology teachers in the implementation of the textbook "Science and Technology II".
