Corporate strategy of YL Corporation : a proposal

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: In its two years of operation. YL Corporation's modern structure has created a setting that makes a statement to the community about the corporations' long term focus on the value of the future and the importance of investing in it. However, internal and external factors confronting it often lead to profound changes in the structures and functions of this newly formed corporation as a one-stop place for wholesome entertainment which should be considered in determining the viability of YL Corporation for the next five years. This is a reason this study was undertaken. The objectives of the study are: to look into the present organization set up/profile of YL Corporation to identify strengths and weaknesses, to analyze the industry/environment in determining the opportunities and threats that YL Corporation has to consider in the future, to recommend the corporate strategy of YL Corporation, a matrix of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats was considered to develop the corporate strategy of YL Corporation and to recoomend corporate strategy of YL Corporation for the next five years are: organization strategy: creation of a management committee, reorganization of organization structure; operation strategy: personnel development program, upgrading of facilities and equipment; marketing strategy: more and better services, establishment government and communities, advertising/promotion and financial strategy: budgetary control system, computerization of financial records and conversion of debt to quality.
