Corporate strategy for the National Food Authority in Davao Oriental

Abstract / Excerpt:

This study aims to compe up with a corporate strategy for the NFA in Davao Oriental for the period covering 1995 to 1997. The bases of the study were the NFA general policies and thrusts and the annual performances for the past five years (1989-1993) in its functional areas which cover marketing operations; finance; industry regulation; marketing operations; finance; industry regulation; marketing development; and technical services superimposed against the economic environment in the province. This study assessed among others, the effectivity of the present marketing activities, i.e. delivery of goods and services of the provincial office and the efficiency in the use of government resources, to come up with recommendations on how to improve on them.
