Abstract / Excerpt:

Objectives: The objective of this report is to present the technical aspect of broiler feeds and feeding management at Alabang Poultry Farm. This report would cover the nutrient requirement of broilers, kinds of feeds, management practices, and feeding equipments presently in use at the farm.

Methodology: The author, having undergone a training for six weeks at the Alabang Poultry Station in their commercial broiler production under the contract of Magnolia is using this as the basis of this report.

Conclusions: It does not mean that feeds alone can increase the production of meat. There are other factors besides feeds that are responsible for meat production of broilers. Even with good feeds and excellent inheritance, a bird will have a poor showing if management in inefficient.
