Abstract / Excerpt:

The study focused on the bayan youth sector on the grounds that they, among all other activist groups, are the most visible and most quick to respond to both national and local governmental actions and issues here in davao city. The Bayan youth sector has manifested their enthusiastic struggles for so many years already. In fact, they began fighting since the time of Marcos until today. This study on the bayan youth sector does not pose any bias on other youth activist groups.
METHODOLOGY: This chapter presents the type of study, locale of the study, unit of analysis, sampling procedure, data collection, variables and measures, data analysis and ethical considerations.
