Abstract / Excerpt:

This study provides the data on the water quality of Panacan River through the determination of the levels of nitrates and phosphates in the river. Complimenting the study done by Hernando (2002), this study also provides a more elaborate profile of the Panacan River. In turn, the data obtained is submitted to the DENR as a more accurate basis for the classification of the river. This is important so that possible uses and hazards of the water will determined.
