Abstract / Excerpt:
Education is valued as a lifetime wealth and a necessity for the Filipinos wherein the government has supported this idea and produced numbers of public schools in the country. Thus education has always been associated with the learning where in people perceive learning to be a setting wherein it is taught within the classroom. Considering that the students are only limited to using the few facilities inside their campuses, the proponent proposes a student center that will supplement a student towards their growth in learning through promoting activities and interaction among other students. Student Centers are present, but also have flaws where it has focused on its educational support facility thus forgetting the physical and emotional activities that a student also has to dwell on. The goal of the study is to build a student center that will enhance learning through stimulating activities and promote interaction to the future users that will focus on architectural design concepts derived for the different psychosocial needs and lifestyle of student that affect and influence the different activities done by the students. The proponent will employ the descriptive survey research design. The research subjects will be the people who are familiar about student centers and about the project. Results, analyses, and interviews, surveys, site visits, and ocular inspections and from secondary sources.
