A Feasibility study on plasma processing of municipal solid waste into electricity

Abstract / Excerpt:

C&G Energies stands for clean and green energies which signifies the mission of the company that is: to utilize the solid waste of Davao City into a clean and green supply of electricity to brighten homes and power industrial plants. The site of the proposed project was chosen based on various significant considerations: zoning, convenience to raw material sources, market, labor cost, land transportation accessibility, and the availability of land for purchase. Electricity is a form of energy necessary to run various equipments and appliances, and is most extensively used in lighting. Electricity is a significant part of the modern civilization. Most of the activities of everyday living use electricity. The prolonged absence of electricity will adversely affect the world and may even lead to industrial and economic meltdown. The company will be supplying 2.99% of the total power supplied to Davao City. In later years, the company will increase it's production. This expansion will not only suffice the growing electrical energy demand and provide opportunities to the public. The electrical energy production from plasma gastification of municipal solid waste will be beneficial to both industry and the public.
