Abstract / Excerpt:

Objectives: This study aims to determine the tangible changes in the manner of presentation of local sexy films ; identify the stereotyped roles portrayed by women and men in the films of each decade; and to find out which decade produced the local sexy films that were highly applauded and cited.

Methodology: The study involved keen and critical observation by utilizing the content analyzes form.

Conclusions: The trend of local sexy films did not change. The trend that it takes now is the same trend that it took in the past decades. There are tangible changes in the manner of presentation. It's still the films from the 80's deserve to be applauded and cited.
