Investigates the perception of public elementary school teachers on their work values. The extent of which teachers manifest intrinsic work values like altruism, aesthetics, creativity, intellectual stimulation, achievement, variety and management and extrinsic values like economic returns, independence, security, supervisory relations, way of life, prestige, surroundings and associates are surveyed using the Work Value Inventory. In addition, the association of work values to teaching experience, educational qualification and type of school is also determined.
