There is a strong demand for rubber both in the domestic and international markets. In the domestic market alone 95 percent of the total production are consumed locally. Yet the Philippine rubber industry is fast becoming a sunset industry. This study resulted in the planning and formulation of a comprehensive development program aimed to assist Western Mindanao rubber industry achieve its vision, mission and goals.
