Determines the performance of five native upland rice varieties: Tayak, Jalnang, Palawan, Santapan and Balitan was conducted in Balimbing, Tawi-Tawi from March to August 1989. The results indicate that Palawan is the most promising and high yielding variety among the rice varieties tested and locally grown in the province of Tawi-Tawi.
