Among the different hybrids tested at USMARC, four hybrids were found to be better than existing check (P3228) with yielded 6.4 tons/ha during dry season. These were P3274 (6.7 tons/ha) (SX747 (6.7 tons/ha), P3208 (6.7 tons/ha) and P5124001 (6.6 tons/ha). Several open-pollinated varieties gave better yields than the existing ones.
